Nissan - a pioneer of intelligent mobility
With the Nissan Intelligent Mobility system, Nissan is considered one of the pioneers in autonomous driving. In the future, electric vehicles will be able to charge themselves while driving, and cars will be able to exchange important information, making driving more pleasant and relaxing for the driver. Driving pleasure will continue to be the main focus.
Nissan is already conducting initial tests for advanced autonomous driving on public roads. So the breakthrough in autonomous driving is within reach!
The Nissan LEAF, for example, already has some innovative features that make the life of the driver easier. On the motorway, the ProPILOT automatically follows the flow of traffic. After the journey, when parking, the artificial intelligence also helps here. With a simple push of a button on the ProPILOT, the Nissan LEAF glides effortlessly and independently into any parking space.

Nissan and Renault the alliance
Renault and Nissan have been working together in partnership since 1999. The companies have joined by means of an exchange of shares. In this way, they have remained independent and yet have been able to benefit from each other through the exchange of know-how. Carlos Ghosn became CEO of Nissan after putting Renault back on the road to success within three years. As part of a three-year plan, Nissan's debts were to be halved and its competitiveness restored. The chosen approach was very effective. Under the leadership of Carlos Ghosn, these goals were achieved after only two years.
Driven by these successes, 2002 saw a further step in the partnership between Nissan and Renault. The two partners founded a GMBH which takes care of strategic goals and coordinates the development. This plan was very successful and so the alliance still exists today.
