During the Second World War, as with so many car manufacturers, the switch to the arms industry took place. After the war, trucks were produced again from 1950 and in 1960 the first Mazda passenger car was produced. Mazda succeeded again and again in establishing new standards in terms of technology. For example, in 2020 Mazda won the Paul Pietsch Award for the Skyactiv-X engine technology. In addition, these vehicles also received the Technobest Award as the most innovative technological development.
